About the event

Happy Space UK is a preventative mental well-being charity devoted to helping university students ask and answer the question, "Why don't I feel OK"? They provide engaging content, foster partnerships and host events to enable students to reach their own Happy Space.

As junior lawyers, Masha and El understand the importance of giving students across all areas of study the best chance at success by granting access to free, non-judgemental and practical resources for maintaining mental health.

Yoga is an excellent tool which can be used both preventatively and remedially to start building positive thinking patterns that can alleviate the symptoms of a huge range of mental health problems. On August 10th, we are giving you the opportunity to not only attend an enriching yoga class, but to speak to and connect with like-minded people over a tea, coffee or delicious slice of cake from our bake sale which will run throughout the day. All profits from the day will go to Happy Space UK.

If you are not able to join us, please note that you can purchase a 'Donation' ticket which allows you to make donation to Happy Space UK without attending.

With over 1 in 4 students in the UK suffering from mental illness, it is more important than ever to make sure that no young person has to choose between their studies and their health. Reclaiming Our Happy Space seeks to introduce more people to the various mental and physical benefits of practising yoga, whilst raising funds for a really great cause.

Our wonderful teachers are not taking any payment from these classes, so that all of the profit raised through ticketing can be used by Happy Space to produce more guidebooks and organise more events for students suffering with their mental health, because everyone deserves to feel supported – free of charge.
